PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of heat transfer from adjacent enclosed switchboards on each other, improve the heat transfer from casings for the switchboards and reduce the rise in the temperature of the switchboards, by providing a space between the adjacent switchboards. CONSTITUTION:The space 15 is provided between a switchboard in a circuit breaker chamber 2 and a wall plate 16 placed in contact with another adjacent switchboard 1a. A partition plate 14 is provided between the wall plate and the switchboard so that a ventilation duct is defined. The partition plate 14 has a lower suction port 14a and an upper exhaust port 14b for ventilation. Air heated in the circuit breaker chamber 2 by a circuit breaker 3 is discharged from the chamber 2 through the exhaust port 14b while new air is entered into the chamber through the suction port 14a, thereby cooling the circuit breaker 3. As a result, the thermal influence of the adjacent switchboards on each other is eliminated, the heat transfer from the casings for the switchboards is improved and their temperature rise is suppressed. |
