<p>1459172 Injection moulding W SCHAEFFLER and G SCHAEFFLER [trading as INDUSTRIEWERK SCHAEFFLER OHG] 8 May 1975 [10 May 1974] 19490/75 Heading B5A Two or more roller bearing cages are injection moulded simultaneously in a mould comprising a cylindrical core 1, 2 and an outer mould part 4 provided with radially movable slide bars 3, each cage comprising two annular rims, as 11 or 12, interconnected by webs distributed around the periphery thereof. The cavities for the cages are connected by gates 14, 15 and a runner 16 to an injection passage 17. An annular groove 20 in the passage 17 serves to retain the sprue 18 until it is expelled by an ejector 19. The cages are ejected by an ejector 13.</p> |
