<p>The device is for addition of extra conductors, esp. ground wires, to a plug already being used for some other function. The plug casing (1) pref. is plastics accept sheated conductors (2) from one side and has a mating section (6) fitting within an annulus (8) moulded into a supporting strip (7) carrying the extra conductors. Two or more rectangular electrode blades (4) are moulded into the mating section (6). The supplementary conductors are trapped between the ridges (5) on the inside surface of the mating section and its end section (6). Pressing the plug into the annulus presses the extra conductors into contact.</p> |
