INTEGER TRANSFORM METHOD FOR IMAGING PROCESS AND PROCESSOR THEREOF

A method for transforming an integer in processing an image and its processor are provided to improve a processing rate of an image and data by performing 2D DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) integer transformation by using a transposing process and a butterfly method under an SIMD(Single Instruction Multiple Data) environment. The row and the column of a matrix of input data are first transposed. Data generated by the first transposition is subjected to a 1DCT integer transformation according to the first butterfly method. The row and the column of the integer-transformed data according to the first butterfly method are transposed secondly. The data generated by the second transposition is subjected to 2D DCT integer transformation according to the second butterfly method. The first and second transpositions and the first and second butterfly methods are performed by an SIMD command language provided by a processor. The SIMD command language is a 64-bit or 128-bit command language.
