<p>Full Patentees: ANVAR and I.N.S.E.R.M. Polypeptides of formula (I) are new X-Gln-Gly-Gly-Y (I) (where Y is -Ser-Asn and X is Ser-, Lys-Ser-, Ala-lys-Ser or Glx-la-Lys-Ser-, or Y can be -Ser when X is Glx-Ala-Lys-Ser-, Glx is PyroGlu or Gln). Also new are derivs. of (I) contg. 1 or 2 modified amino acids, and analogues of (I) in which one amino acid has been added or removeD. Unmodified PyroGlu-Ala-Lys-Ser-Gln-Gly-Ser-Asn (Ia) is excluded as a novel cpd., although its prepn. is included (see below).</p> |
