MARK DETECTING SYSTEM OF WET TYPE ELECTROSTATIC RECORDING PAPER

PURPOSE:To eliminate faulty detection owing to ground soiling of paper from developing solution through simultaneous combination detection of two sets of mark detectors by mounting two sets of parallel mounted mark detectors in the positions where there are marks and where the marks are avoided in electrostatic recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Marks 4 are recorded by a printer in the region on the recording face of electrostatic recording paper 1 where no data are recorded. Mark detectors 2 are mounted in the advancing position of the marks 4 and mark detectros 3 are mounted on the same line as that of the mark detectors 2 in the direction perpendicular to the advancing direction of the recording paper 1 at the intermediate of the marks 4 and the recording region 5 where data are recorded. The outputs of two sets of these detectors are simultaneously drawn out. Namely, when the mark detectors 2 and 3 detect the mark simultaneously, it is made void and when there is the mark detection output of only the mark detector 2, it is made effective.
