A door-closer mechanism housing 3 is secured in a floor-embedded outer box 1. Fixed to a closer spindle (not shown) to which a door is secured is a cam 12 engaged by a cam-follower roller 28 rotatable on a a pivot bolt 26, which is mounted in a rocker lever 25 fulcrummed on a bearing bolt 13. A closer spring 31 forces a thrust roller 30 against the lever 25. In the illustrated zero-setting position, in which the door is detained in its closed position, the roller 28 engages in a recess 33 in the cam 12. The bearing bolt 13 is adjustable by rotation in coaxial bores in the housing 3, and the shank portion 18 on which the lever 25 is rotatable is eccentric with respect to these bores. Thus by turning the bolt 13 the relative positions of the bolts 13 and 26 and the zero-setting position can be adjusted. <IMAGE> |
