PURPOSE:To obtain a desired polygonal-line function signal by obtaining several currents equivalent to an input signal by the use of a current Miller circuit and by applying currents, which are in proportion to deviations between those currents and set currents equivalent to respective bend points to a summing amplifier via diodes. CONSTITUTION:The signal generator consists of current supply 1 which flows a current corresponding to the amplitude of an input signal, transistors Q0, and Q1 to Q6, constant-current supplies 2 and 3, diodes D1 and D2, summing amplifier AD, etc. In ths above constitution, current Miller circuit CM1 is composed of transistors Q0, Q1 and Q2, and current supply 1, and current Miller circuit CM2 is of Q1, Q3 and Q4, and constant-current supply 2. Next, current Miller circuit CM3 is composed of transistors Q2, Q5 and Q6, and constant current supply CM3 and summing amplifier AD with feedback resistance R5 across it is connected to circuits CM2 and CM3 via diodes D1 and D2. Consequently, bend points and tilt angles can be set and adjusted easily. |
