1,219,552. Control of A.C. motors. DANFOSS A.S. 3 Jan., 1969 [26 Jan., 1968], No. 485/69. Heading H2J. In a system in which a motor 5 is energized via an inverter 4 from a D.C. supply which is regulated by a switching device 2 and smoothed by a filter L1, C2, an additional capacitor C3 and a resistor R1 are connected across C2 to make the motor run more smoothly, particularly at low speeds. The inverter and the switching device comprise main and commutating thyristors and the D.C. is derived from an A.C. supply by a rectifier bridge 1, the output of which is smoothed by C1 or a further LC circuit. Diode D1 is part of the D.C. smoothing circuit and an additional inductance may be connected between R1 and 4. The capacitance of C3 is approximately three times that of C1 and typical values are given.
|
