PURPOSE:To provide a sanitary kitchen disposer which can keep the crushed and dehydrated dust in the dust box from being applied with water by means of water passing holes having a water passing ability inferior to the water discharging ability of the disposer which are provided on the lid member and can restrict the amount of water flow. CONSTITUTION:A lid member 13 for the dust inlet 2 is provided so as to open and close through a shaft 14. A plurality of water passing holes 16 are provided on the outer periphery of a knob 15 of the lid member 13 with the total area of opening set at a small value than the water amount which can be discharged by this disposer. Further, the same number of holes 18 as the water passing holes 16 are provided on a back lid member, so that both the holes 16 and 18 can be aligned by sliding to form an opening. When a large amount of water flows in, the lid member 13 is felled at first to close the dust inlet 2 and then the holes 16 and 18 are aligned by rotating the back lid member by the knob 15, thereby discharging the water smoothly through the drain outlet. Accordingly, the water is prevented from entering the dust box through the dust outlet 9 and thus moistening the dehydrated dust. |
