Solid-state image capturing device, in which the image signals are transmitted, interlaced, by a charge-coupled device (CCD). The image capturing device contains vertical shift registers (3), which consist of extended parts (3A) and narrow parts (3B). Capture cells (SA1, SA2) are arranged opposite the various extended parts (3A). A channel rejector (8B) is formed around the capture cells (SA1, SA2) and the vertical shift register (3). The image information carriers which are stored in the cells (SA1, SA2) are transmitted in the vertical direction (a). The image information carriers in the capture cell (SA1) are transmitted in the direction parallel to the carrier transmission direction (a), but in the opposite direction, in the vertical shift register. For this purpose, a gate area (ST1) is formed between the cell (SA1) and the extended part (3A), parallel to the horizontal scan direction. The shift register also has control electrodes ( PHI 1, PHI 2). An area (16) of the auxiliary channel rejector (8B) runs parallel to the vertical shift register (3), and a front edge (16a) of the area (16), relative to the transmission direction (a), and the front edge (17) of the transmission area ( PHI 2T) coincide at least approximately.
