PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract only a white line without fail, from various road markings painted on a road surface.SOLUTION: An LDW device 100 includes an extraction section 110 and a detection section 120. The extraction section 110 extracts a first line element continuing in a vehicle traveling direction, on the basis of image information acquired from an imaging device 50. The detection section 120 determines whether luminance feature of the first line element is the same as luminance feature of a second line element which has a different direction from the first line element and crosses the first line element. The detection section 120 recognizes the first line element as a white line candidate, when the first line element and the second line element are different from each other in luminance feature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
