The individual contact pins of the plug are positionally adjusted in a plastics body (3), while only a minority are individually connected to a cable core each. The unconnected contact pin(s) (2) is formed in piece with the plastics body, also of plastics. Preferably the unconnected contact pin is formed from glass-fibre reinforced elastomer, the plastics body being of the same composition. This unconnected contact pin has typically an increased cross section at the transition of its base into the plastics body. The base may be located in a depression of this body whose inner width exceeds the dimensions of the body cross section.
