PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconduction stabilization material whose production is relatively simple at a low cost and sufficiently high in a residual resistance ratio (RRR), and a superconducting wire provided with the superconduction stabilization material.SOLUTION: Provided is a superconduction stabilization material used for a superconducting wire made of a copper material, having a composition containing one or two kinds of additional elements selected from La and Ce in the range of 3 mass ppm or more and 400 mass ppm or less in total, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, and further, the total concentration of the inevitable impurities other than O, H, C, N and S is 16.9 mass ppm or more and 100 mass ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
