PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation force detection device and a walking assist device with simple structures in which accuracy deterioration can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An operation force detection device 300 used for a walking assist device includes a sliding pipe 560 that can slide in an axial direction in response to gripping, a fixed pipe 510 disposed inside the sliding pipe 560, pressure-sensitive resistance sensors 550 and 551 fixed to the fixed pipe 510 so as to detect operation force acting in the axial direction of the sliding pipe 560, and a pressing member 540 fixed to the sliding pipe 560 which is disposed facing the pressure-sensitive resistance sensors 550 and 551 so as to transmit force acting in the axial direction of the sliding pipe 560 to the pressure-sensitive resistance sensors 550 and 551.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
