<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a magnetic card once, and to make it impossible to use the card after the card is used once by making the card into a usable card on condition that the card is the one for which error processing is not executed when the magnetic information of the card is abnormal, and executing the error processing for the card. CONSTITUTION:When the bar code of the inserted magnetic card is examined, and when it is decided that an abatement for the data is impossible by a clearing processing circuit 50, the error mark of the card is examined. When no error mark exists, the circuit 50 indicates an amount indicated in the using amount mark area of the card on an indicator 6 and indicates a clearing possibility indicating button on a keyboard 5. Further, when an input amount from the keyboard 5 is smaller than the amounts respectively indicated on the indicator 6 and the keyboard 5, the circuit 50 executes an abatement calculation and commands an error processing circuit 47 to execute the error processing. The circuit 47 rotates a step motor 34 through a motor driving control circuit 43 and sends the card to an inserting port. When the card reaches a prescribed position, a punch hole is punched on the error mark area of the card by a punching mechanism 26, and the card is rendered unusable again.</p> |
