The joint gap seal is placed between roof covering plates in a horizontal or inclined plane. The top space of the gap is filled by the covering profile (11). The gap covering at the bottom has additional space for receiving sealing compound which bridges both sides of the gap and the panels underside. - The gap top has inclined sides and the covering profile has similar matching sides ensuring sealing. The gap top profile and underside covers are firmly connected by a connecting screw.
