Deering type knotter for baler - has hook closer with guide path for reserve hook rotation

The Deering type knotter has a hook, on which is pivoted a tongue controlled by a roller which rolls on a control curve. A spring-loaded hook closer has a guide path for the tongue roller and presses this against the guide curve. There is an additional guide path on the hook closer for the reverse rotation of the knotter hook. This starts corresponding to the position of the knotter tongue roller with the maximum swivelling of the knotter tongue. It finally carries on into the guide track for the rotation in the working direction.
