PURPOSE:To reduce registers in number by providing an originating-terminating register. CONSTITUTION:Originating-terminating register 302 is connected to both the line terminal and trunk-side terminal of main channel switch network 103. Once subscriber 101 makes a call, this call is detected by subscriber's circuit 102 to actuate a common control circuit. As a result, originating-terminating register 302 is selected, and subscriber's circuit 102 and originating-terminating register 302 are connected together via connection line 1 of main channel switch network 103. Afterwards, it functions as an originating register for receiving a dial pulse from subscriber 101. When incoming arrives from another station via terminating trunk 301, originating-terminating register 302 is connected to terminating trunk 301 via connection line 5 and then serves as a terminating register in this case. |
