<p>A substitute cigarette comprises a tubular casing filled with a synthetic foam which has been satd. with aromatic material, and which is fitted into the cigarette in wads. These wads are enclosed between two porous end locations, which act as filters. The substitute can also be made in cigar form. The oil used for satn. of the foam is composed of e.g. 33% menthol, 30% acetone/wintergreen, 2% lavender and 1% isotones. Alternatively, a granular aromatic substance can be used, such as aniseed. The substitute cigarette or cigar does not need to be lit, it being sufficient for the vapours of the aromatics to be inhaled.</p> |
