PURPOSE:To simultaneously develop two products by the developing method of one product and to sharply improve design efficiency by preparing an area to be exclusively used for an everchip and called an everchip module and including the area in a product chip. CONSTITUTION:A standardized everchip module is synthesized with an individual project module on data to constitute an everchip 1. A bonding pad 3 exists in the product chip 2 and a mode switching terminal 4 exists in the everchip module 1. Since the size of the module 1, the number of pads and their positions and the kinds of necessary logical cells are standardized, everchip data can be formed within a short time basically by completing the product chip data and the number of design processes can be reduced. The function of the product chip 2 can be completely evaluated by the everchip 1 through the mode switching terminal 4. |
