An article carrier comprises a frame structure F, a plurality of struts 16-27 depending downwardly from the frame structure F to form a plurality of article receiving cells, a bottom element 28-30 secured to the lower portions of the struts forming each cell, a partition element 31-35 disposed between and secured to two adjacent struts of at least some of said cells, the midportion of the partition element being yieldable, and a sleeve (S), Figures 3-5 (not shown), enveloping the carrier about the vertical axis thereof.
