PURPOSE:To improve the adjustment precision of an automatic frequency regulator, by interposing a frequency forecast device between a voltage comparator and a driver unit. CONSTITUTION:Frequency forecast device 7 detects the output of voltage comparator 5 in each period, calculates and fore-casts the difference with an actual value generated by frequency-voltage comparator 4 judging from the value at the detection time and the difference with a value one-period before, and stops driver unit 8 when the estimated frequency agrees with a frequency to be adjusted. By device 7 like this, driver unit 8 is controlled so that even if the variation rate of the frequency against the constant operation of the frequency adjusting method varies, the operation will be made at the center of the frequency range to be adjusted constantly. As a result, the final frequency precision improves and the driving speed of unit 8 can be made high, so that the adjustment time can be shortened. |
