<p>NEW MATERIAL:A 3,4-dihydrocarbostyril derivative of formulas I-1 and II-2: (Ph is phenyl group). EXAMPLE:2-(3,4-Dihydro-6-carbostyril) propionic acid of formula I-2. USE:Medicines and an intermediate for their synthesis. Porticularly, the compound of formula I-2 has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-agglutinating and antiarryhythmic actions, and is useful for medicines and intermediates for their synthesis. PROCESS:A compound of formula II is reacted wih pyrrolidine to form a novel compound of formula III, which is reacted with diphenyl phosphoryl azide in THF under the atmosphere of nitrogen to give the compound of formula I-1. The resulting compound is then reacted with an alkali, e.g. KHO, in ethylene glycol to form the compound of formula I-2.</p> |
