<p>Antimycotic, disinfecting, edge- and surface-perforated multiple crepe paper and tissue paper mats are made by (i) spraying crepe papers and tissue strips with antimycotic solns., (ii) superimposing to form several layers and (iii) bonding to one another at the sides of the sheet obtd., using plastic clamps or a water-resistant synthetic fibre thread. The crepe papers have wt./area 60-90 g/m2 and the tissue strips 40-80 g/m2 and are kept in bathroom format. They may be sprayed individually or from a roll. For wet floors and rooms, the mats are provided with a water-and abrasion-resistant backing, by clamping or sewing, using water-resistant material, onto a water- and abrasion-resistant backing, e.g. soda kraft paper, which is smooth on one side and is sprayed with antimycotic disinfectant on both sides. The mats are used as bathroom-, toilet- and other mats in rooms, etc., frequented by people barefoot, to prevent the spread of fungal foot diseases. The mats can be produced cheaply.</p> |
