<p>The windmill rotor is for use in a reversing wind turbine and particularly for heating and lighting houses. It is of closed disc pattern with blades narrow near the hub and widening towards the outside. Contrary to an aircraft propeller, which is negative, the blades are positively set and equipped with a cylindrical ring rotating with them. It is on a vertical axis, with hollow blades, and guide rotors with flat blades above and below it, and whose blade setting is positive in the outwards direction, the blades likewise widening towards the outside. The wind is reversed in the hollow hemisphere underneath and used on the opposite side also.</p> |
