PURPOSE:To reduce the dispersion of the oscillation frequency at the same temperature by securing the airtight structure within the resonance cavity containing the solid-state microwave oscillation element to create the dry atmosphere inside the cavity and thus to eliminate the change of moisture within the resonator. CONSTITUTION:The bias voltage is applied to Gunn diose 2 mounted within resonator 1 through electrode 3, and the oscillation output is drawn out through opening part 4. In order to eliminate the moisture within resonator 1, the airtight structure is secured for resonator 1 to create the vacuum state inside or the dry inactive gas is enclosed. For instance, part 4 is sealed up via the mica plate, and other gap area such as the draw-out mouth of electrode 3 is sealed up via the adhesive for vacuum use. |
