The present invention provides 5-fluoropyrimidin-4-one derivatives represented by the formula wherein R is straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl having 4 to 18 carbon atoms, straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, alkylene oxido having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, aryl or aralkyl. These compounds have low toxicity and outstanding anti-tumor effects.
