The adjustable reclining chair can be used for typing work and for taking main meals at a 75-80 cm high, ordinary dining table or desk, but can also be used, on the other hand, in a lower semi-reclining position as an armchair for relaxation or in a lying position, for example for watching television. A joint (C, D, E) located below the seat shell (A) is arranged in the chair frame. To adjust the seat shell to a desired position, it is lifted out of the corresponding holder (H or I).
