发明名称 TUYERE BRANCH PIPE BLAST FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a tuyere branch pipe which is capable of increasing efficiency of reaction in a blast furnace, by installing flow control unit at each tuyere of some of the blast branch pipes ramified from an annular hot blast pipe. CONSTITUTION:An air-flow control unit (valve body 19) is installed under a flow- measuring apparatus (venturi meter 12 made of refractory material) for a branch pipe 6 ramified from on annular hot blast pipe 5. The valve body 19 is constituted of a valve body of partly chipped sphere shape made by combination of refractory materials 18 having such a shape that forms a hot blast flow path 17 inside an annular metallic body 16, which has a water-cooling chamber 15 capable of rotating in the direction at right angles to the direction of hot-blast flow path 14. The valve sheets 28, 28' having a water-cooling chamber 27 is installed at the valve body 19 with gap of 1-5 mm between the valve sheets and the valve body. The air flow at each tuyere being controlled at an optimum, reduction efficiency is increased, and operations are conducted at a high efficiency and at a low fuel ratio.
