<p>The package is of thin, thermoformed material, having a base with recesses to contain the eggs. A lid is hinged on the base along one longitudinal side. The lid is hollow and has a flat bottom made rigid by vertical ribs distributed over the faces of the lid and a peripheral rib formed on the bottom defining a flat area to receive a label. The side walls of the lid are guided and held on the base by projections (16) which engage in holes (17). Pyramidal projections (14) on either the base of lid engage in holes (15) in the other to fasten the lid.</p> |
