<p>The roller shutter has a series of slats hung onto each other, with ends held by two side guide-rails, the top slat being attached to a rotatable winding spindle. There is a locking device which acts on the bottom slat (20) in the closed position, pref. incorporating a push-rod (24) thrust into a channel (21) in this slat, and displaceably held there. The rod, of slat length, can incorporate a stop batten (25) outside the channel, with lug (26) passed through a slot (22) worked into one side of the slat. This provides increased security, making it impossible to raise the lowered slats from outside.</p> |
