The burner for gaseous liquid fuels has the fuel nozzle (10) coaxial with the flame-tube (1) but set back from its outlet. An air injector sleeve (18) with a necked-down outlet end, mounted on the fuel pipe (11) encloses the nozzle. An axially movable sleeve (20) has a convergent outlet end and fits inside the flametube. In its cylindrical portion this sleeve carries a ring (22) with external teeth (23) inclined about 45 deg. to the axis. Inside this ring is a swirler plate (24) with divergent bore and radial slots angled 20 deg.-30 deg. to the radial plane. Air preheating sleeves (15, 16) surround the flametube. |
