<p>Thread storage and supply device for textile machines of the type comprising a storage for positive thread supply preceded by a storage for intermittent thread supply. The device comprises a stationary storage drum provided with a rotary winding element. The thread passes from the storage drum through a hollow axis of the drum and is guided tangentially onto a rotary thread drum from which it is removed tangentially at an unwinding speed equal to the winding speed. The thread drum rotates about an extention of the hollow axis near one end thereof, the storage drum being located near the opposite end thereof. The invention provides a simple and space saving structure by avoiding an additional, separate positive storage so far necessary in the art.</p> |
