PURPOSE:To widen an amplitude control range by composing an amplitude-limiting circuit of a ladder resistance, and also to fix rise and fall characteristics freely by attaining amplitude detection digitally. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal supplied to input terminal 5 is transmitted to output terminal 11 by way of amplitude-limiting circuit 6 composed of a ladder resistance network and buffer amplifier 7. A signal above a standard level when inputted is detected by amplitude detection circuit 8 and its rise time is shortened by the time setting circuit 9 as the amplitude of the input signal is larger. Namely, rise and fall times are varied according to the level in order to derive the maximum effect from amplitude-limiting circuit 6.
