Box-type plastics rain gutter made of foam laminate - to ensure seal-less fit on roof and ensure economical installation

Plastics box-type rain gutter has a base plate with perpendicularly fitted inner and outer side plates. It comprises an integral laminate body with foam core ply. That side plate nearest a building has a longitudinal groove whose edges (as viewed in crosssection) converge and in which sliding blocks are arranged which can be connected to the gutter brackets. The groove is suitably a "swallow-tail" groove. Use of foam-ply instead of prior-art massive-plastics laminate makes the article highly competitive and also enables it to be fitted with no packing between it and the underlying roofing tiles being required.
