A luminous display tube having an anode device which is much brighter than conventional ones, consisted of a substrate and many kinds of extended anode segments. Each segment comprised of the conduction material layer(23), and luminous material layer(21). The improved device is combined with the conduction material layer and forming conduction material. Each luminous material layer covers the raised parts(31).
