Herbicidal compounds of formula: <CHEM> wherein R is cycloalkyl or branched alkyl of 3 to 10 carbon atoms; R<1> is hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, cyano, nitro, carbamoyl or alkanoylamido; R<2> is hydrogen or lower alkyl, lower (di)alkylamino, lower alkoxy or lower alkylthio; and R<3> is hydrogen or lower alkyl; and salts thereof with acids and bases.
