PURPOSE:The title composition having improved heat distortion resistance, melt- flow characteristics in molding, crack resistance, and mechanical properties especially at temperature below 0 deg.C, obtained by adding a polyamide resin and a plasticizer to cellulose acetate. CONSTITUTION:A) 100 parts by wt. of cellulose acetate is blended with B) 10- 30 parts by wt., preferably 15-30 parts by wt. of a plasticizer (e.g., dibutyl phthalate) having a freezing point not higher than -20 deg.C, and C) 0.1-15 parts by wt., preferably 0.2-8 parts by wt. of a polyamide resin (preferably nylon 11, etc.) having a melting point of 80-220 deg.C, preferably 90-200 deg.C under heating. USE:A molded article with an insert usable in a car room at a temperature not less than 70 deg.C. |
