PURPOSE:To prevent the draw-out of washing cloth during the washing of an impression cylinder and to use one washing apparatus for both of a blanket cylinder and the impression cylinder by providing a rotation stop mechanism to a cloth supply roll. CONSTITUTION:When a blanket cylinder 1 is washed, a washing apparatus 3 is opposed to the blanket cylinder 1. Whereupon, a pawl 31 is pushed by a spring 35 to be separated from a ratchet wheel 30 and a cloth supply roll 10 becomes freely rotatable. Washing cloth 15 is delivered by rotating a cloth take-up roll 11. When an impression cylinder 2 is washed, the washing apparatus 3 is shifted toward the impression cylinder 2 and a spring receiver 35 is brought into contact with the rod 37 of an air cylinder 36 and the pawl 31 is meshed with the ratchet wheel 30 to restrict the rotation of the cloth supply roll 10. The washing cloth 15 is not drawn out even when the impression cylinder 2 is rotated. Next, the rod 37 of the air cylinder 36 is drawn in to make the cloth supply roll 10 freely rotatable and a press pad 13 is separated from the impression cylinder 2 and the cloth take-up roll 1 is driven to send the washing cloth 15. This operation is repeated. |
