<p>A heating element contains an electrically insulating support material (A) consisting of a reinforcing material possibly combined with a polyester resin. On both sides of the support material there are electrically conducting, electroresistant wires (B), the wires on one side being parallel to each other and in a crosswise direction w.r.t. the wires on the other side. These wires are covered with a thermally stable varnish, electrically insulating and chemically distinct from the polyester resin possibly used in (A). The wire ends can be attached to an electrical energy source. There is a second layer of electrically insulating material (C), consisting of a reinforcing material and a polyester resin, bonded to one face of the material.</p> |
