PURPOSE:To separate leucocytes from an aqueous dispersion of blood corpuscles, by the use of syntehtic fibers or semi-synthetic fibers having an average diameter of <=10mu. CONSTITUTION:A column is packed with fibers of polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, cellulose acetate etc., having an average diameter of <=10mu, to form a filter. Blood, body fluid, or a blood corpuscle-containing liquid obtained therefrom, is passed through the filter. Leucocytes are trapped by the filter, and separated from the other components. |
