PURPOSE:To separate leucocyte, in high purity and yield, and in a short time by a simple operation, by the use of synthetic fibers or semi-synthetic fibers as a filter. CONSTITUTION:A column is packed with fibers of polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, cellulose acetate, etc., in a density of <=0.15 g/cm<3>, to form a filter. Blood, body fluid, or a blood corpuscle-containing liquid obtained thereform, is passed through the filter. The leucocytes are trapped by the filter. |
