PURPOSE:To secure the automatic eliminaton of the plural ghosts and the composite ghost through a simple circuit constitution by using the signal contained in the current TV broadcasting as the reference signal. CONSTITUTION:The signal given from intermediate frequency amplification step 1 undergoes the phase detection through phase detector circuit 3 and is then separated into the high and low frequency components via LPF4 and HPF5. The signal of high frequency component is applied to 1st and 2nd coefficient circuit 6A and 6B, and the output of circuit 6A is applied to adder circuit 10 which supplies the output of circuit 6B via minimum delay circuit 7 which gives pi/2 delay to the phase of the carrier chrominance signal. Then the addition signal is applied to delay circuit featuring almost the same time as the delay time of the ghost, and the output of circuit 8 is then applied in the form of the compensation signal to adder circuit 11 which uses the output of circuit 3 as the input. Thus, the phost contained in the output of circuit 3 is suppressed. |
