The multiple function display panel (1) is designed for display of timetables, publicity information or other interchangeable data. The panel has a retractable lateral supports (23, 24), extractable perpendicular interior supports (25, 26) and positioning and retaining profiled sections for the interchangeable displays. The upper edge (3) of the panel and its lower edge (4) delimit the display surface. In these edges are slots into which fit the clipping section of a cover strip (6). The panel and coat hanger support system is suitable for use in railway station waiting rooms and other public places.
