Table lamp made from motor vehicle parts - has pistons on connecting rod and top piston holding lamp

The table lamp is used especially on writing desks. The lamp is readily made from used motor vehicle parts and has good appearance. The piston (1) and connecting rod (2) from an IC engine are rigidly connected together. The big end of the connecting rod is similarly held in another piston (3). The second piston is used as a base on which the lamp stands and accommodates a transformer for the low voltage lamp. The lamp (4) itself is screwed into the round face of the first piston (1). A motor vehicle lamp bulb can be used. The lamp is screwed into a pipe which passes through the piston and the connecting rod little end.
