PURPOSE:To ensure an easy connection by soldering or the like between the circulator and the external circuit by constituting the connection part with the capacitive transmission line and then securing the matching between the external circuit and the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:The circulator consists of circular junction part 12 provided on ferrite substrate 1, impedance matching line 13 and transmission line 14. Short line 7 featuring a lower characteristic impedance than characteristic impedance 50OMEGA of line 14 is provided at the connection end between the circulator and the external circuit. The length of line 7 is set preferably to 1/8 wavelength or less so that the capacity may be added concentrically to the line. The characteristics of the circulator is varied by the capacity line 7 features, so the characteristic impedance and the length of line 13 are varied a little previously. |
