PURPOSE:To secure a quick and assured selection of the operation mode by deciding the execution possible mode through the center with reception of the state of the input/output unit in the automatic transaction device as well as the output of the timer and then informing them to the automatic transaction device. CONSTITUTION:Reading part 22 of the automatic deposits payment machine (ATM) reads out the normal or abnormal state of various I/O units for magnetic band read/write part 24, bankbook printer 7 and others, and then writes the results into into/output unit state display region 21a of memory 21. The state of the I/O unit is sent to center system 10 via circuit control part to be then registered on table 30 of the center. The center decides the execution allowable transaction mode based on the state of the I/O unit as well as the output of timer 3 and then sent the mode to ATM. The ATM writes the mode into operation mode display region 21b of memory 21 and then displays the mode onto mode indicator 26. |
