The distance piece fits between two parallel shuttering panels for a concrete wall, having a solid central bar for concreting into the wall centre and with a ring, plate or other moisture barrier at the middle. Tapped holes in the ends of the bar accommodate screwed-in end bars which protrude through openings in the panels. Metal or plastic cone sleeves with axial bores protrude past the ends of the central bar, and are of truncated section tapering from the shuttering towards the centre, being removable from the concrete. The cone sleeves extend (5) from the inside of the shuttering (1) in the axial direction for 2-3cm, and may be secured detachable to the shuttering.
