The valve metal anode has a lead wire and a semiconductor layer coating, covered with a conductive film with a second lead wire. The anode lead wire is horizontally bent closely adjacent the anode and crosses with the anode terminal. The anode lead wire (3) is soldered to the anode terminal (2), and the excessive wire length is cut off after the soldering by a laser beam pulse. Preferably the laser pulse is directed onto the end (8) of the anode lead wire, where a bead is formed by melting. The bead surface tension causes embedding of the anode terminal. The beam impingement point is selected at a specified distance (x) from the cross point (4). The distance may be up to two twice the anode terminal diameter.
